How to print CNIC front and back on A4
- Upload a photo or scan of the CNIC front and the CNIC back.
- Pick a layout. Centered stacked places front above back on one sheet.
- Select the paper size, A4 by default, and confirm the scale is 100%.
- Turn on the anti-photocopy watermark and choose a preset if the copy is for an institution.
- Print directly, download a PDF, or export a PNG of the finished sheet.
Correct CNIC and ID card print size
A standard Pakistani CNIC follows the ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 format and measures 85.60 x 53.98 mm, or about 3.37 x 2.13 inches. The print suite locks that aspect ratio and calibrates the sheet so the printed copy matches the physical card rather than a stretched approximation.
Print layout options
- Centered stacked for a simple front-and-back sheet with a fold or cut guide.
- Side by side for horizontal comparison or wide cards.
- Dual copy to fit two complete sets on one page.
- Quad copy to fit four sets for high-volume submissions.
- Pakistani grid for a structured sheet that also exports a two-page PDF with a duplicate.
Add a watermark for bank or official use
Identity copies are often misused when they carry no restriction. Enable the watermark and choose a preset such as "FOR BANK ACCOUNT VERIFICATION ONLY" or "FOR VISA & PASSPORT APPLICATION ONLY". The overlay is burned into the printed sheet, which discourages reuse of the copy.
Scan enhancement filters
Photos of cards taken with a phone are rarely print-ready. The B&W scan mode boosts contrast so text reads clearly and saves ink, grayscale produces a neutral copy, and color boost keeps the card artwork vivid. All filters run instantly in the live preview.
Frequently asked questions about CNIC printing
How do I print both sides of an ID card on one page?
Upload the front and back images and select the centered stacked or side-by-side layout. Both sides are placed on a single sheet with a cut guide so you can fold or cut a true-size copy.
What paper sizes are supported for CNIC printing?
A4, US Letter, Legal and 3R photo paper are supported. A4 is the default for Pakistani CNIC and general ID copies.
Can I print multiple copies on one sheet?
Yes. Choose dual copy (2 sets per sheet) or quad copy (4 sets per sheet) to fill the page, or use the Pakistani grid layout which also exports a two-page PDF with a duplicate sheet.
Does the CNIC tool work offline?
The layout, enhancement and PNG export all run offline in your browser. Only the optional PDF export loads jsPDF from a CDN, so that single feature needs an internet connection.
