Crop and rotate an image
Trim the edges with four crop sliders, turn the image in 90-degree steps, and download the result. The image is read and encoded in your browser.

Crop with sliders, rotate in steps
The crop controls remove a percentage from each edge, which is faster and more predictable than dragging a box on a phone. The preview shows the result before you download.
Rotate 90° cycles through upright, sideways and upside down. Dimensions swap for 90 and 270 degrees, so the output stays the right way up.
Formats and quality
JPG is the compatible default but cannot keep transparency; transparent pixels become white. PNG is lossless and ignores quality. WebP can keep transparency and usually makes a smaller file.
Cropping removes pixels in the downloaded file. The original photo on your device is unchanged, so keep it if you may need the full frame later.
What this tool cannot do
- It does not rotate by a free angle or straighten a tilted horizon.
- It does not correct perspective or detect edges.
- It does not restore detail lost in an earlier compression.
- It does not decode HEIC in browsers that cannot read it.
- It does not upload the image anywhere.
How it works
- Step 1
Add an image
Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF image. HEIC is not supported by most browsers.
- Step 2
Crop the edges
Use the left, right, top and bottom sliders to remove unwanted edges. Reset crop starts again.
- Step 3
Rotate if needed
Use Rotate 90° to turn the image. The preview and output dimensions update.
- Step 4
Choose the format and download
Pick JPG, PNG or WebP, set the quality for JPG/WebP, then download the new file.
Frequently asked questions
How do I crop an image without dragging?
Use the four crop sliders. Each one removes a percentage from that edge, and the preview updates before you download.
Can I rotate the image by any angle?
This version rotates in 90-degree steps: 90, 180 and 270 degrees. It does not offer free-angle straightening.
Does cropping keep the original file?
Yes. The downloaded file is a new image; the original on your device is not changed. Keep the original if you may need the full frame later.
Which output formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP. JPG turns transparent areas white. PNG and WebP can keep transparency. PNG ignores the quality slider.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is read, cropped, rotated and encoded in your browser. The site loads analytics and ads, but your image is not sent to a server.
