Add one PDF to extract pages or split it into smaller files.
Extract pages or split every N pages
Extract mode writes the pages you select into one new PDF. It is useful for pulling a signed page, an appendix or a single form out of a longer document.
Every-N mode cuts the whole PDF into smaller files. A 10-page PDF split every 3 pages gives files with 3, 3, 3 and 1 pages. The original file is never changed.
Page range syntax
Separate entries with commas and use a hyphen for a range: 1-3, 5, 8-10. Spaces around the hyphen and comma are ignored. A reversed range such as 8-3 is rejected with a suggested correction.
Pages outside the document are rejected, and duplicate pages are removed. The new PDF follows the order you enter, so 3, 1 puts page 3 before page 1.
Protected and broken PDFs
A password-protected PDF is skipped. The tool does not crack or remove passwords. Save an unprotected copy in the app that created it, then add that copy. A broken file is reported and no output is produced.
What this tool cannot do
- It does not create a ZIP; multiple outputs download one at a time.
- It does not remove PDF passwords or encryption.
- It does not compress the output or reduce image quality.
- It does not show page thumbnails; it lists page counts instead.
- It does not change the original PDF.
How it works
- Step 1
Add one PDF
Choose a PDF and check its page count. Password-protected files are skipped.
- Step 2
Pick a mode
Extract pages into one PDF, or split the whole file every N pages into separate files.
- Step 3
Enter pages or a chunk size
For extraction, use ranges like 1-3, 5. For chunks, enter how many pages each new file should contain.
- Step 4
Download the files
Check each page count, then download the new PDFs one at a time.
Frequently asked questions
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Add the PDF, keep Extract pages selected, enter the pages or ranges, then select Extract selected pages. The selected pages are written to one new PDF.
What page range syntax is supported?
Use single pages and ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3, 5, 8-10. Spaces are allowed. Reversed or out-of-range entries are rejected, and duplicates are removed.
Can I split a PDF every N pages?
Yes. Choose Split every N pages and enter the chunk size. A 10-page PDF split every 3 pages produces files with 3, 3, 3 and 1 pages. Each file downloads separately.
Does this create a ZIP file?
No. This version downloads each output PDF individually. There is no ZIP bundle.
What happens to a protected PDF?
It is skipped with a message. The tool does not remove or guess PDF passwords. Create an unprotected copy first.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file is read and split in your browser. The site loads analytics and ads, but your PDF is not sent to a server.
