Clean up document photos into a PDF

Add photos of pages, crop each one, rotate it and apply a grayscale or B&W scan filter. Then download one A4 PDF. The photos are processed in your browser.

Add document photos to crop, rotate and filter them into one PDF.

From phone photo to A4 PDF

Each photo becomes one A4 page. The document is fitted inside a small white margin on the page. Use one clear photo per page and keep the camera as square to the paper as you can.

The export is rendered at 150 DPI. That keeps a multi-page document manageable on a phone while staying readable on screen and on a normal home printer.

Crop, rotate and filter each page

Select a page in the list, then use the four crop sliders to remove the background around the document. The rotate button turns that page in 90-degree steps. The preview updates before you export.

Grayscale removes colour casts and is a good default for text. B&W scan pushes the page toward black and white, which can make faint text clearer but can also lose light pencil marks. Brighten lifts dark pixels for a photo taken in poor light.

No automatic edge detection

This version does not find the page edges, correct perspective or deskew a tilted photo. Those features need a heavier on-device model or server processing, and the tool is intentionally simple and local.

For the cleanest result, put the paper on a plain surface, fill the photo with the page, avoid shadows and keep the camera parallel to the paper. Then use the crop sliders to trim the remaining background.

What this tool cannot do

  • It does not detect edges or correct perspective automatically.
  • It does not run OCR, so the PDF text is not searchable.
  • It does not remove shadows, replace the background or restore a blurry photo.
  • It does not create a PDF from an existing PDF; use the merge or split tools instead.
  • It does not upload the photos anywhere.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Add the page photos

Use one clear, well-lit photo per page. Each photo becomes one A4 page in the list order.

  2. Step 2

    Crop and rotate

Select a page and use the crop sliders and rotate button so the document fills the frame upright.

  3. Step 3

    Choose a filter

Keep Original, use Grayscale, try the B&W scan filter, or Brighten a dark photo.

  4. Step 4

    Create the PDF

Select Create scanned PDF, check the page count and size, then download the file.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool detect the document edges automatically?

No. This version has no automatic edge detection, perspective correction or deskew. You crop and rotate each page by hand with the controls on the page.

Which filters are available?

Original, Grayscale, B&W scan and Brighten. The B&W filter uses a threshold with a soft edge; Brighten lifts dark pixels while keeping the colours.

Can I combine several pages into one PDF?

Yes. Add several photos, arrange them with the up and down buttons, then create one PDF. Each photo becomes one A4 page.

Will the PDF contain searchable text?

No. The pages are images, not OCR text. You cannot select or search the words in the PDF.

Does the tool remove shadows or replace the background?

No. It can brighten dark pixels and increase contrast, but it does not remove shadows, replace a background or fix a badly lit photo.

Are my document photos uploaded?

No. The photos are read, filtered and written into the PDF in your browser. The site loads analytics and ads, but your photos are not sent to a server.
